Augusten Burroughs writes about how when he began writing his memoir ‘Dry’ he didn’t think of it as writing, but ‘just typing’. There is a freedom in that idea that I enjoy, so I am borrowing it in my efforts to start putting some words on “paper”.
I have so many ideas in my head but they never stay long enough and never appear at the appropriate enough time to get them written down. I have infrequently wondered if blogging is for me. Are my topics worthy of public consumption? Haven’t other people already written about this? Does anybody want to read about this? And then again…why not?
So here I am.
